Celebrating Excellence with Busy Bees – Video Production for the Be Brilliant Awards & CDCON
Our ongoing partnership with Busy Bees has allowed us to support and enhance their internal communications and events through creative video storytelling. In 2024, we were commissioned to produce two cornerstone films for the Be Brilliant Awards and CDCON (Curriculum & Development Conference)—both central moments in the Busy Bees calendar.
These events are more than gatherings; they are heartfelt celebrations of the people behind the high-quality care and education Busy Bees is known for. Through a blend of live-action footage, interviews, and animation, our videos helped amplify the voices, stories, and spirit that drive the organisation forward.
The Project
For the Be Brilliant Awards, we created a vibrant and emotionally resonant video that captured the excitement and pride of this annual celebration. With over 2,000 nominations from across the network, the video needed to reflect the depth of talent, dedication, and care that underpins Busy Bees’ values. We focused on showcasing personal achievements, inspiring leadership, and the collaborative spirit that makes Busy Bees a trusted name in childcare.
We also produced a second film for CDCON, the annual conference focused on curriculum innovation and development. This film combined dynamic visuals, animated graphics, and thought-leader insights to energise and inform delegates. The video helped set the tone for the event, highlighting key achievements and sparking inspiration for the year ahead.
Beyond these events, our partnership with Busy Bees has included producing case study videos, staff stories, and animated explainers, helping to bring internal initiatives to life and reinforce the organisation’s commitment to excellence in early years education.
The Result
Both event videos played a pivotal role in creating an engaging, emotionally impactful experience for Busy Bees team members. The Be Brilliant Awards film added a personal, celebratory touch to an already uplifting event—spotlighting not just the winners, but the entire community of nominees who embody the Busy Bees values. The CDCON video energised delegates and added a polished, professional edge to the conference’s opening.
